Historic Signage

In 2009, nine historical interpretative panels were placed at important historic sites throughout the Township. These sites were selected by our Historical Commission as the most significant to Charlestown’s past.

The signs feature the following sites:

• Brightside Farm
• Charlestown Elementary School
• Charlestown Village
• Ice Dam Ruins
• Longwood School
• Middle Pickering Rural Historic District
• Revolutionary War Cemetery
• Village of Devault
• Woolen Mill
