PUBLIC NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Charlestown Township Zoning Hearing Board will hear zoning Application No. 02-2023, filed by W. Herbert Stauffer and Janet L. Stauffer, “Applicants,” hereinafter, on August 29, 2023, at 7:30 p.m., at 11 General Warren Boulevard, Suite 1, Charlestown Township, Pennsylvania. Applicants are owners of improvements and realty located at 6 Primrose Lane, tax parcel 35-4-138.13, situated in a FR district of Charlestown Township. Applicants request the Zoning Hearing Board to grant them: (A) variances from §27-1203.1.C.1 and §27-1203.2.C.1 which prohibits structures within areas of very steep slopes and steep slopes; (B) variances from §27-1203.1.C.2 and §27-1203.2.C.2 which prohibits cutting and filling within areas of very steep slopes and steep slopes; and (C) variances from §27-1203.1.C.4 and §27-1203.2.C.4 which prohibits removal of topsoil in areas of very steep slopes and steep slopes, so that Applicants may construct a detached garage at 6 Primrose Lane in parts of areas designated very steep slopes and steep slopes.
