Review Bus Tour Schedule
Ms. Dicranian circulated copies of the tour map, which now features 11 stops, 4 Wheelock Lane being most recently added.Mr. Stevens drafted HARBUS, a guide to the tour stops, with room for members to add notes that would be collected and compiled into a final document.

Ms. Dicranian asked for input on possible activities for the semi-quintennial. She suggested that taking small initiatives now, discussed below as education and outreach, could lead to a clearer vision for this event.
Education & Outreach
The group discussed ways to feature the township’s historical resources including:
- Creating short articles for the quarterly newsletter, including “Fast Facts” that would be entertaining to read, using various themes such as famous Charlestown architects, bridges, and the like.
- Those articles could then be posted as permanent features on the township website.
- Spreading the word about the resources available at the County Historical Society in West Chester for those interested in researching their properties.
- Bringing back the idea of an annual calendar similar to what the Charlestown Historical Society did for several years.
Town Tours & Village Walks
Ms. Dicranian said Charlestown will provide information for the Chester County Planning Commission /Chester County Historic Preservation Network’s 2023 tour program.
Memorial Day Service at the Charlestown Cemetery
Mr. Pittock said that the Parks & Recreation Board agreed to take over this event, and will be planning one for May 29th, including a scout troop to perform the flag raising.
