Board of Supervisors Business Meeting
Minutes of October 25, 2004

A budget workshop session was held October 25, 2004 at the Great Valley Middle School, Room 154. Kevin R. Kuhn, Chairman, Michael J. Rodgers, Vice Chairman, Paul J. Hogan, Charles A. Philips, Hugh D. Willig, and Linda M. Csete, Township Administrator. Phillip Staas, Donna Casciola, Suzanne O’Brien Riley, Bob Jones, and Kelly Devine were also present.

The meeting was called to order at 7:35 P.M.

Citizens’ Forum – Non-Agenda Items

No items were brought forward.

Business

Fencing Contract – Charlestown Park

Mrs. Csete distributed the bid tally sheet for 4 bids opened at 2:00 P.M. at the Township Office, which indicated bids received as follows:

Rusticraft Inc.$10,995.00
Long Fence Co. $10,724.00
Amity Fence Co. $12,125.00
Abel Fence Co. $10,184.00

The bids will be turned over to Ed Theurkauf for review and a recommendation to the Board. The bid award was then scheduled for the November 1, 2004 Supervisors’ meeting.

Request for 3-Way Stop at Sidley Hill and Yellow Springs Roads

Mr. Hogan moved to direct the Secretary to request a PennDOT study for a 3-way stop sign at Yellow Springs and Sidley Hill Roads, and Mr. Philips seconded. Mr. Kuhn called for discussion and, there being none, called the vote. All were in favor.

Budget Work Session

The Board reviewed the first budget draft prepared by Mrs. Csete as Treasurer. The budget will be redrafted to include changes discussed this evening, and placed on a future agenda to authorize advertisement for adoption.

Adjournment

The meeting was adjourned at 10:05 P.M., after which time the Board moved into executive session to discuss legal matters. The next meeting will be held on November 1, 2004, 7:30 P.M. at the Great Valley Middle School, Room 154.
