Well Water Testing
The Chester County Health Department recommends that wells be tested at least once per year.
Bacteriological testing of your private well can be performed by private labs, many of which
operate in Chester County and the surrounding area. The following is a list of certified
drinking water laboratories along with a list of the contaminants for which they test.
