NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Charlestown Township Zoning Hearing Board will meet on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at 7:00 p.m., at the Choral Room, #154, of the Great Valley Middle School, located at 255 North Phoenixville Pike, Malvern, Pennsylvania, to hear Application No. 04-2019, filed by Paul L. Grafinger, herein “Applicant”. Applicant, the owner of tax parcels 35-4-12 and 35-4-12.1, requests variances from the following sections of the Charlestown Township Zoning Ordinance so that Applicant may build part of an addition to Applicant’s existing single family dwelling, a garage, shed, patio, and retaining wall, upon areas of Very Steep Slopes, hereafter “VSS,” contrary to §27-1203.1.C.(1)-which prohibits structures in VSS, except those associated with uses described in §27-1203.1.A., §27-1203.1.C.(2)-which prohibits cutting and filling in areas of VSS, except if associated with permitted §27-1203.1.A. uses, and §27-1203.1.C.(4) which prohibits removal of topsoil in areas of VSS. Applicant is the legal owner of the subject property situated in an FR Zoning District at 4113 Hollow Road, Charlestown Township.
