A budget work session was held October 22, 2012 at the Township Office, 4030 Whitehorse Road, Devault, PA. Frank A. Piliero, Chairman, Michael J. Rodgers, Vice Chairman, Kevin R. Kuhn, Hugh D. Willig and Linda Csete, Township Manager were present along with Fire Marshal Tim Hubbard, Parks & Rec Chairman Bob Jones, Trail Committee Chairman Sue Staas and Brightside Farm Manager Alix Coleman.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M.
The Board reviewed the budget draft prepared by the Township Manager. The budget will be adjusted to include changes discussed this evening. The revised draft will then be distributed to the Board prior to the November 5, 2012 Supervisors meeting where it will be reviewed and Mrs. Csete authorized to advertise it and post it on the Township Website.
Mr. Kuhn updated the Board on an availability of funds for open space acquisition made possible following a donation from the Burhans estate to the French and Pickering Creeks Trust, as well as a potential future donation to the F & P from the estate that would be marked for Charlestown projects.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 P.M. The next meeting is scheduled for November 5, 2012, 7:30 P.M. in Room 154 of the Great Valley Middle School.
