Assistance Available to Individual Property Owners
with Damage from Tropical Storm Lee

Chester County is included for Individual Assistance under the Tropical Storm Lee Presidential Disaster Declaration for Pennsylvania.

This means that individuals, families and businesses in Charlestown Township are eligible for a wide range of federal benefits including grants and loans, including SBA loans.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will be the lead agency for this program, working with the PA Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) and the Chester County Dept. of Emergency Services (DES).

Register for assistance by Telephone: 1-800-621-FEMA (3362)
or by Internet: www.DisasterAssistance.gov.

The Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) operating in the Chester County Government Services Center will be able to assist residents and businesses impacted by both Tropical Storm Lee and Hurricane Irene. You may visit the DRC at the Chester County Government Services Building, 601 Westtown Road, Room 42, West Chester, PA 19382. They can help you with registering and with any questions. The Center is open seven days a week from 10 am – 7 pm.
