Environmental Advisory Committee

Supervisors Approve EAC Formation

On January 7, 2019, The Board of Supervisors adopted Ordinance #209-2019 creating the Environmental Advisory Committee. This group of seven individuals will provide advice and recommendations to our municipal officials on a range of environmental issues relating to the protection, conservation, management, promotion, and use of natural resources, including streams, springs, forests, wetlands, and meadows.

The EAC provides for education and outreach on issues affecting the environment such as recycling, stormwater and septic system maintenance, noise pollution, participates in Earth Day, and assists with scouting projects that aim to enhance or improve the Township’s natural resources.

The EAC services in an advisory role, and includes members with backgrounds relevant to environmental science and best practices.
