Sealed bids for the Restoration of Perimeter Walls, Old Charlestown Cemetery, will be received by the Board of Supervisors of Charlestown Township, Chester County, delivered to the Township Office, P.O. Box 507, 4030 White Horse Road, Devault, PA 19432, until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 2, 2019; attention: Mrs. Linda Csete, Township Manager. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the Board of Supervisors Meeting at 7:00 p.m. on the same day at a public meeting to be held at the Great Valley Middle School, Room 154, 255 N. Phoenixville Pike, Malvern, PA.

All prospective bidders must submit two copies of a completed Restoration Skills Qualifications Form (See Section 004200 of the Project Manual) to the Owner at the address set forth above on or before 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, in order to bid on the Project. Prospective bidders may submit their qualifications at the pre-bid meeting to be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at the project site, located at 2475 Charlestown Road, Phoenixville, PA. Each prospective bidder will be notified by the close of business on Thursday, November 14, 2019, regarding the approval of his or her qualifications to bid on the project. Any bids received from those failing to meet the qualifications will be returned to the bidder unopened.
Contract is subject to the requirements of the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry Prevailing Minimum Wage Rates.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Board of Supervisors of Charlestown Township in an amount not less than ten per cent (10.0%) of the bid price. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
